I am originally from Clio, Michigan where I attended Clio High School. After I graduated from high school, I attended Saginaw Valley State University where I graduated with a bachelors degree in Physical, Health and History Education.  I began my teaching career at Carter Middle School, which is in my hometown.  I have been teaching History and Physical Education at Flat Rock Community High School since 2005.  I have recently graduated from Walden University with a master's degree in the Science of Education with a concentration in Teacher Leadership.

In addition to my teaching duties I am the Varsity Boy's and Girl's Soccer Coach.  I also serve as the Senior Class advisor.
