1)  Q Does the paint come out of my clothing?
A
Even though I use tempera paint with my students and we wear paint smocks, paint does sometimes get on the kid's clothing and does not always wash out. Please try to send your children to school on art day in their "play" clothes, or send another shirt for them to use in class!
2)  Q How often and for how long does my child have art?
A
I see each class one time a week for 50 minutes at both Bobcean Elementary and Barnes Elementary.
3)  Q Are you going to have an Art Fair this school year?
A
Yes!! Our annual KidsArt Fair will be held at Barnes Elementary school this year, for BOTH Barnes and Bobcean families. The event will take place on Thursday, May 19th 2011 from 3:00 - 6:30. Your child's artwork will be available for you to purchase in a matted frame as part of a fundraiser for the art program. If you cannot purchase the frame PLEASE come to the art show and enjoy yourselves and see the wonderful art that the children have been creating!
4)  Q Do I have to purchase a frame for by child's art to be in a frame during the art show?
A
No!! Please return the slip stating that you will be coming to the art show (even if you can't). The company will only ship frames for those slips that are returned. If a slip is not returned, your child's art will be haning in the gym, but they will not be in a frame. The frame does not have to be purchased! You will not be able to take your child's art home the night of the show unless you purchase a frame but all artwork left in frames at the end of the night will be removed and passed back to take home in class!
