In order to guarantee your child and all the students in my classroom the excellent educational climate they deserve, I have developed a Discipline Plan that will be in effect at all times.
When in my classroom, students must comply with the following rules:
1. Follow directions the first time they are given.
2. Be in seat, ready to work when the bell rings.
3. Bring all materials to class every day. Materials include notebook, paper, pen (blue or black ink only) or pencil.
4. Keep hands, feet, and all objects to yourself.
5. No putdowns or inappropriate language
If a student breaks a rule, the following consequences will occur.
The negative consequences are accumulative for that day only. If a student is severely disruptive or breaks a school rule, he or she will be sent immediately to the principal.
Included in my Discipline Plan are ways to positively reinforce students who behave appropriately. In addition to using frequent praise, I will reward students with free class time, no homework nights, and special class activities.
In order for this plan to have its greatest effect, I need your support.
