Mrs. Barbaza

Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year!

I am looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces here at Simpson.  I have a creative and productive year planned for everyone and I anticipate the positive atmosphere awaiting us!  Art is subjective and can be produced by anyone.  I live by the motto "If you can write your name, you can draw."  Art is subjective and therefore, there is no bad art.  However, all art is different and some art can be an acquired taste.  Not everyone likes the same things and that is why I cater my curriculum to the individual interests of my students allowing them choice in the subjects they choose to produce.

I am eager to begin another energetic year at Simpson and I know you are too!  Projects and learning targets will be posted on this website for your convenience!  Let's create!
