Chemistry/Advanced Chemistry: We will be learning basic chemistry ideas which include quantum theory, thermodynamics, gas laws, etc. The information in this class will give you a very solid base for any future chemistry classes you may take at the university level. The amount of math varies from subject to subject, with most of it found in the second trimester of the class. All math encountered is arithmetic or algebra I. It is very wise to bring a scientific calculator to class every day. A TI-86 is NOT required, but could be very helpful.
