Mission
The Mission of the Flat Rock Community Schools is to provide quality educational programs, resources, and the collaboration of support services for all community members, enabling them to be competent, informed, and involved citizens in an ever-changing society.
Goals

Improve student achievement: Continue to increase MEAP and ACT/MME scores to reach and exceed the state average in math, reading, writing, science and social studies for all students.

Re-establish Curriculum Advisory Committee to work toward providing professional development, instructional strategies, instructional materials and assessments to ensure successful student mastery of the Michigan Standards and Benchmarks and the State standardized test scores.

Develop an overview of a sound 5-Year financial plan for the district.

Improve and increase facilities:

Expand, maintain and improve facilites as needed.

Expand and improve district information and technology system.

Explore and implement a foreign language for MMC compliance.
